Este projeto de investigação centra-se na necessidade de conceber um programa que se adapte às particularidades de uma aluna com Trissomia 21 e Deficiência Intelectual Ligeira, reconhecendo as suas capacidades e obstáculos no ambiente escolar. Baseia-se em modelos de desenvolvimento humano, teorias de aprendizagem e abordagens psicopedagógicas inclusivas articuladas com programas psicopedagógicos que garantem a eficácia e a adequação da abordagem atual. Em termos práticos, o programa tem como objetivo oferecer ferramentas e estratégias concretas aos educadores, psicólogos educacionais e famílias para facilitar o processo educativo e a inclusão do aluno. A ênfase será colocada nas capacidades individuais do aluno, fomentando a sua autoestima e motivação como elementos essenciais para o seu progresso académico. Para além disso, procurar-se-á dar apoio psicopedagógico às principais pessoas envolvidas no processo educativo, de modo a oferecer uma atenção pedagógica integral adaptada às necessidades específicas do aluno.
