L’objectif de cet ouvrage est de démontrer les coûts nécessaires à la plantation de canne à sucre dans la région administrative d’Araçatuba/SP, en utilisant les concepts de la comptabilité agroalimentaire et des coûts pour enregistrer les opérations résultant du développement du projet. Les principales phases de la culture de la canne à sucre sont : la location du terrain, la préparation du sol, la livraison des semis, la plantation, la culture des plants et des repousses, ainsi que la coupe, le chargement et le transport. Les investissements réalisés pour la plantation de la culture sont récupérés sur les recettes au cours de la deuxième année de coupe. La région administrative d’Araçatuba dispose d’industries sucrières et alcooliques pour le commerce de la matière première, d’une structure logistique multimodale et de cultures en expansion, ce qui favorise les investissements dans la culture de la canne à sucre.
