LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) is used for cooking by around 1.3 billion people worldwide, or roughly 17% of the global population. The number of users is gradually increasing as more homes acquire access to contemporary cooking fuels. By 2030, it is anticipated that nearly 2 billion people might use LPG for cooking if efforts to enhance access continue to succeed. LPG is especially popular in cities because to its ease and comparatively clean burning when compared to solid fuels such as wood and charcoal, which are still commonly utilized in many developing countries. The heat transferred from the fuel to vessel for cooking is not efficiently converted and mostly become heat losses which also results in the low durability and life cycle of the burner. The low performance can be due to burner design and geometry as these are pivotal in determining the efficiency, safety, and suitability for different cooking applications. The material selection for gas burner is also a critical aspect and exploring the material and its property which influence the performance of a burner. Continued research and innovation in this area aim to enhance the performance and sustainability of gas burners.
