Metody fitosocjologiczne często obejmują ilościową ocenę różnych parametrów, takich jak pokrycie, liczebność, częstotliwość występowania itp. (Palmer, 2002). Niniejsze badania przeprowadzono na wzgórzach Kakul w okresie od kwietnia do października 2013 r. Wysokość obszaru badań wynosiła 1310-2410 m n.p.m. Badania przeprowadzono losowo, wykorzystując kwadraty o wymiarach 10 m × 2 m dla drzew, 5 m × 2 m dla krzewów i 0,5 m × 0,5 m dla roślin zielnych. Określono gęstość, częstotliwość występowania i pokrycie każdego gatunku w różnych drzewostanach. Dane uporządkowano w formie tabelarycznej i uzyskano wskaźniki wartości dla każdego gatunku. Społeczności zostały ustalone i nazwane na cześć trzech dominujących gatunków.
