Cette définition de l’agro-industrie comprend la fourniture d’intrants et de services pour ces activités ainsi que la production, la transformation, la commercialisation, le commerce et la distribution de denrées alimentaires brutes et transformées, d’aliments pour animaux et de fibres. L’agro-industrie est également la science et les pratiques de ces activités, avec des liens en amont et en aval.
