Il presente documento affronta la problematica situazione dell’abbandono scolastico nelle scuole secondarie delle aree urbane-marginali di Gran Mendoza (Argentina) e conclude con una proiezione all’anno 2030. L’obiettivo principale è generare input per il processo decisionale nella progettazione di misure di politica pubblica per questo livello educativo. La metodologia utilizzata è il metodo Godet. Sono state effettuate analisi Mic-Mac, Mactor e Morfologiche. La situazione urbano-marginale è diventata più complessa nella provincia negli ultimi anni e le scuole secondarie con queste caratteristiche sono sempre meno in grado di accogliere gli studenti delle classi inferiori. L’abbandono scolastico continua a essere un problema irrisolto in Argentina in generale e a Mendoza in particolare, che richiede un approccio trasversale dal punto di vista politico, interdisciplinare e scientifico.
