In diesem Buch wird ein Protokoll für das 3D-Scannen von Bausteinproben beschrieben. Ziel ist es, die morphologischen Merkmale der Zersetzung dieser Steine in situ zu ermitteln und zu beschreiben. Zu diesem Zweck werden diese Steine zunächst im Labor gealtert, um ihre Veränderungen zu reproduzieren. Dann wird die Untersuchung der Degradationen mit einem automatisierten Photogrammetriesystem unter Verwendung eines Drehtisches durchgeführt. Die Photogrammetrie basiert auf der Verarbeitung von Bildern und Punktwolken für eine kolorimetrische und morphologische Analyse der vom Stein erlittenen Degradation. Wir werden über die Verbesserung des Beleuchtungssystems, die Automatisierung der Drehscheibe, die Kamerasteuerung und alle Aspekte, die die Automatisierung dieses Protokolls ermöglichen, diskutieren. Das endgültige Ziel ist es, einen 'Ausweis' der Degradierung für diese Steine zu erstellen.
