Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich Soziologie - Klassiker und Theorierichtungen, Note: 1,5, Leuphana Universität Lüneburg, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Hausarbeit widmet sich dem Thema der Zukunftsforschung, einem spannenden Thema, das die Menschheit schon lange interessiert, jedoch erst im Jahre 1968 erste Wurzeln im Bereich einer wissenschaftlichen Erforschung in Deutschland schlagen konnte. Prof. Dr. Kreibich und sein Team gründeten 1981 das Institut für Zukunftsstudien und Technologiebewertung in Berlin und wurden lange Zeit von Vertretern anderer wissenschaftlicher Disziplinen belächelt, da die Zukunftsforschung nicht zum Kanon der deutschen Wissenschaft gehörte. Renommierte Forschungsinstitute und Lehrstühle an Universitäten, an denen leistungsfähige Zukunftsforschung betrieben wurde, gab es weltweit allerdings teilweise schon seit den 40er und 50er Jahren. Nur in Deutschland war es ein langer, harter Weg um sich in den wissenschaftlichen Reihen zu etablieren.
