W niniejszym badaniu analizuje się potencjał sztucznej sieci neuronowej w zakresie przewidywania osiągów i emisji spalin istniejącego jednocylindrowego silnika czterosuwowego CRDI przy różnych strategiach CNG i EGR. Na podstawie danych eksperymentalnych opracowano model ANN do prognozowania parametrów wydajności i emisji silnika eksperymentalnego. Badanie przeprowadzono przy użyciu 70% wszystkich danych eksperymentalnych wybranych do szkolenia sieci neuronowej, 15% do walidacji krzyżowej sieci, a pozostałe 15% danych wykorzystano do testowania wydajności wyszkolonej sieci. Opracowane modele ANN były w stanie prognozować wydajność i emisje silnika eksperymentalnego z doskonałą zgodnością.
