Celem niniejszego badania było wykrycie zmienności przestrzennej i czasowej stężenia rozpuszczonych substancji organicznych w trzech głównych systemach rzecznych lasu namorzynowego Sundarban. Sundarban ma duże znaczenie dla Bangladeszu zarówno z punktu widzenia gospodarczego, jak i ekologicznego. Dlatego decydenci powinni opracować pilne strategie mające na celu ochronę tego lasu przed zbliżającym się zagrożeniem poważnym zanieczyszczeniem wód. Niniejsza publikacja zawiera chronologiczny opis różnych parametrów jakości wody w dwóch porach roku, co może posłużyć jako wytyczne do dalszych badań.
