W dzisiejszych czasach ceny produktów rolnych wytwarzanych w gospodarstwach rolnych rosną w mrówczym tempie, a ceny nakładów na uprawę roślin rosną w tempie rakietowym. Dlatego istnieje pilna potrzeba przeprowadzenia ważnych badań w celu wprowadzenia innowacyjnych technik, które mogą obniżyć koszty produkcji roślinnej. W tym kontekście niniejsze badanie zostało przeprowadzone w celu oceny zużycia paliwa przy różnych narzędziach uprawowych, prędkości roboczej ciągnika i poślizgu kół. W tym badaniu efektywność paliwowa pługa talerzowego + brony talerzowej i brony talerzowej (dwukrotnie) została przetestowana na glebie gliniastej o wilgotności 12,5% i gęstości nasypowej 1,32 g/cm3. Aby znaleźć bardziej wydajne narzędzie pod względem zużycia paliwa, dwa zabiegi T1 (pług talerzowy + brona talerzowa), T2 (brona talerzowa) zostały ocenione na trzech powtórzonych losowo kompletnych poletkach. Zbadano i porównano zużycie paliwa z zestawem dwóch zabiegów: pług talerzowy + brona talerzowa i brona talerzowa (dwukrotnie). Do porównania wykorzystano zużyty czas oraz liczbę przejazdów ciągnika potrzebnych do wykonania operacji uprawowych.
