Die Qualität der Setzlinge ist einer der wichtigsten Faktoren bei der Schaffung von Waldbeständen. Es ist eine Herausforderung, Setzlinge sowohl in der Menge als auch in der Qualität zu produzieren, um den Anforderungen des Forstsektors gerecht zu werden. Aus diesem Grund wird zunehmend nach Innovationen im Produktionsprozess gesucht, die die Produktionskosten senken und gleichzeitig die Qualität der Setzlinge sichern. Ziel dieser Studie war es, die Produktion von Klonsetzlingen von Eucalyptus grandis x E. urophylla in Polyethylen- und biologisch abbaubaren Behältern zu vergleichen, um zu ermitteln, welches System effizienter und wirtschaftlich rentabler ist.
