Nicht der Produktabsatz steht im Vordergrund, sondern die Erbringung von Dienstleistungen, die Produkte effizienter und intensiver nutzbar machen. Hier werden erstmals die Entwicklung und Umsetzung ökologischer Dienstleistungskonzepte in der Unternehmenspraxis empirisch untersucht. Bezüglich Garantie, Reparatur, Upgrading, Remarketing, Leasing und Miete wird ein breites Spektrum bisher kaum erschlossener ökonomischer und ökologischer Potentiale aufgezeigt. Fundierte Fallstudien liefern vielfältige Ansatzmöglichkeiten für eine ökologische Dienstleistungsorientierung rund um das Produkt bis hin zum Nutzenverkauf.
