Author Jimmy Mitchell doesn’t shy away from the issue in marriage today: divorce is rampant, especially among Christian couples. His solution to this issue is his latest book, Walking Together As One Flesh, a Christian marriage guide that combines daily life in marriage with kingdom principles from the Bible. Jimmy focuses on God’s design for marriage, putting Christ first in the relationship as the couple leave and cleave from their former single lives. He defines that marriage is two becoming one flesh as a married couple, which is helped through developing a marriage vision, sex in marriage and even the power of walking together. Using his own thirty plus marriage to wife Yvette as an example, Jimmy believes if spiritual intimacy is achieved for a couple, in all areas of life, then restoring broken marriages is possible and couples can continue to thrive in love and respect as one flesh.
