'Voices of Women,' ’lessons from women, for women and men,’ is a devotional book which elaborates the lives of Biblical and contemporary women. Spiritual, social, economic and physical experiences are visualized for and with you. But this is not just a devotional. It is an edifying assemblage of the lives and lessons learned from women, some of whom you might have never heard of before. Others are famous. The life of each woman is described in daily portions with scriptures and commentary by the author. There are three broad themes that cover Godly/Positive Women, Ungodly/Negative Women, and Contemporary Women. Some of the women are placed in a theme that will present surprises to readers. There are no dates in the book so that there is no pressure to specifically keep up with any of the 366 days. Beginning the cycle all over again therefore will be very easy. While the lessons are from women, men will find quite a lot of learning moments embedded in the pages of this book that are relevant to their lives.Sheila is a Christian who worships at the Carrot Bay Seventh-day Adventist Church in the British Virgin Islands (BVI). In the service of the Lord she has held the offices of Assistant Sabbath School Superintendent, Deaconess, Adventist Youth Sponsor, Investment Secretary, and Elder. In addition to her home church, she has presented the Word of God at the Sweet Redemptive and Road Town congregations of Seventh-day Adventists in the BVI. Sheila was born in Road Town, Tortola, BVI. Having worked for the Governments of Jamaica and the BVI for a total of thirty-three years, she retired as a senior manager. She is educated to the Masters level, holding several management certifications. She is the manager of 'Essential Management Services.'
