The installation of a crop and its commercialisation is carried out based on the results of the germination test. However, this test is conducted under optimal conditions and its results are not always related to seedling emergence in the field or in a greenhouse. Therefore, vigour tests are used to supplement information on the physiological parameters of seeds. This study aimed to evaluate methods for estimating the vigour of bare and pelleted tobacco seeds.
