Ziel der konservierenden Landwirtschaft ist eine bessere Nutzung der landwirtschaftlichen Ressourcen durch eine integrierte Bewirtschaftung der verfügbaren Boden-, Wasser- und biologischen Ressourcen in Verbindung mit begrenzten externen Betriebsmitteln. Vor diesem Hintergrund besteht das Ziel dieser Studie darin, das Ausmaß der von den Landwirten in verschiedenen Gebieten Bangladeschs angewandten Praktiken der konservierenden Landwirtschaft zu ermitteln und die finanziellen und sonstigen Bedingungen zu analysieren, die die Landwirte dazu veranlassen, solche Praktiken anzuwenden. Die Untersuchung wird wertvolle Informationen über die Probleme liefern, mit denen die Landwirte bei der Anwendung der konservierenden Landwirtschaft konfrontiert sind, und damit den politischen Entscheidungsträgern Anregungen für die Formulierung geeigneter politischer Maßnahmen geben, damit die Einführung der konservierenden Landwirtschaft vernünftig und reibungslos verläuft und den Lebensunterhalt der bäuerlichen Bevölkerung in Bangladesch verbessert.
