This work was developed through extensive research, based on material collected in the field and laboratory data from samples that provide accurate results regarding the characteristics of the Eucalyptus urograndis species. These variables, basic wood density and fibre size and thickness, are intrinsic to the pulp manufacturing process, as well as to the quality achieved in the final product. This subject is aimed not only at scholars of the topic, but also at anyone interested in natural sciences and the behaviour of plant species.
