The main objective of the research was to analyze the impact of the use of the Datashow on the process of teaching and learning the figures and dates of national history in the subject of history at the 25 de Setembro Secondary School in Quelimane, seeking a generalized understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of this teaching medium and its psycho-pedagogical applicability as a way of helping to mitigate the problem of ignorance of the Figures and Dates of National History and consequently contribute to the achievement of the government’s program. A question was raised that supported the direction of the research, which was: What is the contribution of the DataShow in the Teaching and Learning Process of the Figures and Dates of National History? In order to pursue this question, we used qualitative research supported by quantitative and descriptive research. This research showed that the level of knowledge of the students of the 25 de Setembro Secondary School about the Figures and Dates of National History is low and that the teachers of the school
