Hardly are there any issues in life that are more emotive and contentious than religion. In other words, it posits that if Christ and His apostles did not teach or practice a doctrine, Christians do not have to bother about it. The book challenges all who call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to look up to, and live for Him, as the author and finisher of their faith. It therefore contends that biblical Christianity, as opposed to its religious version, does not admit of syncretism.
