Undine, And Other Tales is a collection of stories written by Friedrich de la Motte Fouque and first published in 1871. The book includes five tales: Undine, The Two Captains, Aslauga�������s Knight, Sintram and His Companions. The first and most famous tale, Undine, tells the story of a water spirit who falls in love with a human knight named Huldebrand. The two marry, but their happiness is threatened by the jealous and vengeful spirit world.
