Diese Umfrage wurde 2013 wiederholt, um die Veränderungen im landwirtschaftlichen Geschäfts- und Investitionsklima in Kenia zu ermitteln. Unternehmer im Agrarsektor müssen fast täglich Geschäftsoptionen berechnen und bewerten. Erzeuger, Verarbeiter und Händler in allen Arten von Wertschöpfungsketten für Lebensmittel und Rohstoffe müssen entscheiden, ob sie zu einem bestimmten Preis kaufen oder verkaufen, ob sie Arbeitskräfte einstellen oder nicht, ob sie in neue Produktlinien investieren oder die aktuellen besser nutzen wollen.
