ليديا ثابت، امرأة جزائرية، من مواليد 25 جوان 2001. مريضة بالصرع، وقد تعرضت بسبب مرضها للكثير من الرفض في مجتمعها. بدأت الكتابة في عمر 13 سنة، وكانت بداياتها مع الأدب العربي وهي صغيرة في السن، حيث كانت تكتب القصائد النثرية التي تصف فيها معاناتها من التنمر الذي واجهته من زملائها بسبب نحافتها وشعرها المجعد. تحدت كل العوائق ووصلت لمبتغاها، وافتتحت وكالة خاصة بها تبرز فيها مواهبها. ليديا معلقة صوتية وممثلة مسرحية وشاعرة، وأول رواية لها بعنوان جريمة ضابط الشرطة، والتي تحكي فيها عن صدق حب المرأة عندما تحب الشخص الخطأ، حتى وإن كان يملك سلطة مهنية رفيعة.
