Phủi được hàng hàng lớp lớp bụi vong tình ấy thì chân tâm hiển hiện, Phật tính tỏ bày.”Nếu chỉ phủi bụi bằng đôi tay và cây chổi của đời thường thì chỉ làm cho những lớp bụi có cơ dầy thêm. Bụi đời chỉ có thể rửa sạch bằng đôi mắt thương (từ nhãn) và bằng tấm lòng trung chính (chân tâm). Tác phẩm Tu Bụi đã thành công trong việc gợi ý “quét bụi trần gian” qua nghệ thuật kết cấu mang tính biểu tượng (symbolism) và tâm lý nhân vật được xây dựng mang tính cường điệu sáng tạo (creative exaggeration) gây ấn tượng sâu và đậm cho người đọc.Tu bụi để phủi được lớp bụi vong tình.
