Iphigenia In Aulide describit sacrificium Agamemnonis, patris Iphigeniae, quod facere debet ad placandum deos et ut permittatur navigare ad Troiam. Electra narrat fabulam de Electra, filia Agamemnonis et Clytemnestrae, qui optat vindictam pro patre suo. Oedipus Tyrannus est tragoedia de Oedipo, rege Thebarum, qui ignarus est de sua vera identitate et qui committit incestum cum matre sua et patricidium.
