Traduction du mot NEIGE dans la Bible en gungbe, une langue du Sud du BéninRésumé: Le cadre contextuel montre que la Bible contient 783137 mots-clés dont fait partie la NEIGE et bon nombre de ces mots de la bible en gungbe ont été traduits de la bible en français dans une option de fidélité aux textes sources pour ne pas transmettre un message éloigné du sens alors que l’on sait que les Gun, les français et les peuples des langues originelles de la bible (hébreu, grec, araméen) ont des cultures diamétralement opposées se manifestant à travers leurs langues, leurs méthodes de conception et d’expressions des réalités environnementales et climatiques. Le risque est donc grand de faire des traductions littérales de ces mots-clés, non porteuses de sens et cette traduction peut alors devenir objet de critique et de méfiance. On peut alors s’interroger sur les différentes méthodes et techniques de traduction adoptées pour la circonstance.
