Es gibt nur sehr wenige Unterlagen über die Merkmale der Rinder und keine Informationen über die Qualität und Sicherheit des produzierten Fleisches. Kann kamerunisches Rindfleisch daher den Standards entsprechen und auf dem internationalen Markt wettbewerbsfähig bleiben? JA! Wie in dieser Arbeit dargelegt, hat Kamerun unglaubliche Möglichkeiten für die nachhaltige Entwicklung seines Rindfleischsektors und kann dank seiner enormen Vielfalt an reichen natürlichen, menschlichen und infrastrukturellen Ressourcen die immer höhere Nachfrage nach Rindfleisch von ausgezeichneter Qualität bequem befriedigen. Um dies zu erreichen, müssen die nationalen Entwicklungspolitiken und -strategien auf der Grundlage der hier bereitgestellten Informationen neu ausgerichtet werden.
