Michele Fermanis-Winward lives close to the summit of the World Heritage Blue Mountains in New South Wales, Australia, on Darug and Gundungurra Land. With a long career as a visual artist, she considers herself an Imagist poet. Through her writing, she rails against injustice and discrimination in all its forms. Michele is passionate in her defence of our natural environment. She celebrates its diversity and decries its destruction.
