Sobre IBD

This collection of poems is a homage to my grandfather, Demetrius (Jim) Fermanis and the island he called home but never returned to. I cannot vouch for all these stories.Some are a confection made of fragments I was told as a child, part of our family lore, some are my own imagining. There are impressions from my visit to the island in 2012 as I went in search of the culture my grandfather revered.
