'The Second Coming of Common Sense' offers for my fellow Americans consideration a current day rendition of Thomas Paine’s American Revolutionary classic Common Sense. Today’s 'common sense' presents this concerned citizen’s analysis of serious problems within our American 'National System' the way America really works on a day-to-day basis. And most importantly, how We the People could prudently and practically decide to address and resolve those problems for our Common Good. And do it now! To say what needs to be said for the Common Good of our citizens -- the absolute goal being to initiate a Great American Discussion and Debate, that will coincide and collide with the 2008 U.S. Presidential and Congressional Campaign. This is an analysis of what is wrong in various public policy areas within our National System and how we could realistically confront and resolve such issues starting in 2008. This book objectively reviews critical issues, and presents real solutions to long-standing public problems - not in an attempt to convince or dictate, but to share objective perspectives and aggressive solutions to key public issues. 'The Second Coming of Common Sense' is published with the intent of making your life and the lives of those you know and love, better.
