It is a mirror with many faces, a river with countless streams. To fully understand its definition, it is necessary to explore its various forms.First, let us consider societies that are formed on the basis of identities such as villages, castes, and religions. The family we are born into, the caste system that prevails in the society around us, and our religious beliefs primarily indicate which society we belong to. These identities greatly influence our customs, values, and lifestyles. Festivals celebrated by villages, caste-based traditions, and religious rituals reveal the unique identities of these societies.However, societies formed on the basis of identities also cause problems. Caste hierarchy and religious hatred pose challenges to social unity. Therefore, it is necessary to respect the diversity of these societies, break down their rigid boundaries, and embark on a journey towards equality.
