The Power of Prayer is a very powerful book. Prayer brings you closer to God. When you pray it is your way of talking to God on an intimate level, just you and Him one on one. God loves to hear from His children and there is nothing that God wouldn’t do to make you happy. We take things for granted at times and never think about who is really in control of our lives and this world. When you reflect and think about who woke you up this morning, who but breath in your body, who let you be able to hear the alarm clock, who let you be able to sleep and slumber through the night without anyone breaking in on you and who allowed you to wake up in your right mind. These are great reasons for you to pray all the time without ceasing. The power that God gives you will only come through the prayer line that you have with Him. God will reveal things to you that He will show no other person in regards to your life and the boldness you will have knowing that we serve an awesome God. When we pray we can do the unthinkable because prayer changes things. God knows everything about us because He made us and He knows our thoughts before we even think it. Just to hear Gods voice directing us in the way that we should go is a powerful thing. Just think if the whole world prays together what a mighty nation we would be. There is Power in Prayer and big responsibility that comes from God, if we are ready to trust in God and except the Power that comes with it. God is looking for a people to stand on His word and only His word to do what is right and never giving the evil one a thought. This can only happen if we keep our mind stayed on God.

Reconsideration by Richard Bauckham has suggested that the author was a Jerusalem disciple who housed the ''Last Supper.'' This book explores the possibility that he was present...

The past decade has overflowed in a raging stream of contradictions. Old certainties have yielded to relentless insecurity over a time when much of the human experience got immeasurably better even as many things only ever seemed to get worse. As Paul du Quenoy’s globetrotting criticism reveals, the arts were in a ferment that matched profound and yet totally unpredicted social...
