The Perfect Match is the story of a young girl called Nikita Heer, living a life within the parameters of her culture and family expectations. Her parents introduce her to Sam to whom she has an arranged marriage, believing that one day she will come to love this handsome man. Sam isn’t the man she thought he was and her life is thrust into a nightmare she had never imagined. A year into her marriage she escapes and ends up in a women’s refuge. She begins to rebuild her life and becomes friends with another girl also living at the refuge, Jazz. They decide to get a flat together and after rebuilding her confidence, Nikita lands herself a job as the new P.A. to an up and coming actor Jai. Nikita and Jai become close and as they get to know each other, they realise they have more in common than they once thought. However, Nikita’s nightmare is still lurking in the background, and when she comes face to face with him, she must have the courage to confront him.
