After earning a master's degree at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Rev. Clifton served as associate pastor at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Flint, Michigan. The author lives with his wife of thirty-five years in the Northern Virginia area, where he continues to serve local churches as a pulpit supply preacher, deacon, and lay leader for churches in Alexandria and Fredericksburg, Virginia.
