A child born out of wedlock,abused & living a lonely life, yet achieving success far beyond his dreams,then discovering a family secret that changes his life forever. Pivital military battles with real life heroes. There are several ’cameos’ regarding famous people within the chapters-Howard Hughes & Ava Gardner,Kirk Douglas,John Wayne, J.P Getty, Nick Nolte. All of this leading towards a surprising and uplifting conclusion. The reader experiences a wide variety of emotions as he follows the characters through their lives & experiences. This is not a 'war story', it is a story about people, emotions & life experiences that should appeal to all generations.
