12:22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.12:22 Și a zis ucenicilor Săi: De aceea vă spun: Nu vă îngrijorați de viața voastră, gândindu-vă ce veți mânca; nici de trupul vostru, gândindu-vă cu ce vă veți îmbrăca.12:23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.12:23 Viața este mai mult decât hrana, și trupul este mai mult decât îmbrăcămintea.12:24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?12:24 Uitați-vă la corbi, căci nici nu seamănă, nici nu seceră, n-au nici cămară, nici hambar, și Dumnezeu îi hrănește. Cu cât sunteți voi mai de preț decât păsările?12:25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?12:25 Și cine dintre voi, chiar dacă se îngrijorează, poate adăuga la statura sa un cot?12:26 If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?12:26 Dacă deci nu puteți face nici măcar cel mai mic lucru, de ce vă îngrijorați de celelalte?12:27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.12:27 Uitați-vă la crini cum cresc: nu trudesc, nu țes; totuși vă spun că Solomon, în toată slava lui, nu s-a îmbrăcat ca unul dintre ei.12:28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?12:28 Dacă iarba care astăzi este pe câmp și mâine se aruncă în cuptor, Dumnezeu o îmbracă așa, cu cât mai mult vă va îmbrăca pe voi, puțin credincioșilor?12:29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.12:29 Nu căutați ce veți mânca sau ce veți bea și nu vă îndoiți.12:30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.12:30 Căci toate aceste lucruri neamurile lumii le caută; dar Tatăl vostru știe că aveți trebuință de acestea.
