12:22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.12:22 A učenicima reče: 'Zato vam kažem: Ne brinite se za život svoj što ćete jesti, ni za tijelo u što ćete se odjenuti.'12:23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.12:23 Život je vrijedniji od hrane, a tijelo od odijela.12:24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?12:24 Pogledajte gavrane: ne siju niti žanju, nemaju ni spremišta ni žitnice; i Bog ih hrani! Koliko ste vi više dobri od ptica?12:25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?12:25 Tko od vas, brinući se, može dodati svome rastu lakat za jedan?12:26 If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?12:26 Ako dakle ne možete učiniti ni najmanje, zašto se brinete za ostalo?12:27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.12:27 Promotrite ljiljane kako rastu: ne trude se, ne predu; a ipak vam kažem da se Salomon u svoj svojoj slavi nije odjenuo kao jedan od njih.12:28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?12:28 Ako dakle Bog tako odijeva travu koja danas je na polju, a sutra se baca u peć, koliko će više vas, malovjerni?12:29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.12:29 Ne tražite što ćete jesti ili što ćete piti i ne budite sumnjičavi.12:30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.12:30 Jer sve to traže narodi svijeta; a vaš Otac zna da vam je to potrebno.12:31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.12:31 Nego tražite kraljevstvo Božje i sve će vam se to dodati.
