The Gift of Grief is the raw and heart-wrenching story of one woman’s loss of her beloved husband. But this is much more than a personal story. The Gift of Grief was written with a twofold purpose.The primary purpose is to comfort and encourage those in the grieving communitywith the same comfort and helpful support received by the author, Marcia Weir, at the time of the sudden death of her husband, Ron Weir. Secondarily, it is to raise awareness and to help the Body of Christ (theChurch) understand how desperately those who are grieving need ongoing loveand support as they walk the journey of grief. Such support requires a commitment of time to the hurting and broken-hearted.
