The Earth is My Patient is a brilliant book about the REAL CAUSES of Environmental Pollution facing everyone in the world. Many of the ideas put forward by the Author, David Arieti, are based on his experiences and knowledge. Written in both serious and tongue in cheek manor makes the information more understandable and makes the reader more aware of his/her environment. The fact that Mr. Arieti is slightly fanatic about environmental issues should encourage everyone to say it like it is. He cannot standby while the earth’s land, aquatic and air ecosystems are destroyed with a tremendous loss of life. It is hoped that readers will raise hell about the deliberate destruction of the planet’s ecosystems by greedy billionaires. As the reader is reading this, fleets of fishing boats are overfishing the world’s oceans, and forests are trying to recover from the hundreds and maybe even thousands of forest fires that occurred because of droughts and climate change. Reading this book is a call to action that everyone must raise hell about because it is their future (if there will be one) which is at stake. Remember, IF THE ENVIRONMENT GOES, WE ALL GO.
