Subjective in nature, this book exposes the folded mental problems rising from real-life events that harm many teenagers, particularly in underdeveloped civilizations i.e., Afghanistan. The argument is centering on how the exploitation of socially accepted norms and religious principles cause mental suffering in teenagers. While Afghanistan is used as an example to illustrate the main philosophy of the book. Thus, the argument in the book is reinforced by the fact that around 99 percent of Afghans practice Islam alongside a strong belief in cultural norms. Because of this, most Afghans’ everyday choices & decisions are largely influenced by and based on social norms and religious principles. This book, therefore, emphasizes the value of inner harmony, mental fulfillment, and happiness, which teens today, particularly those from middle-class households in underdeveloped communities, need the most. The book covers real-life observations, personal experiences, & factual tales to support the argument to better showcase the topic matter. The book also provides many examples of various aspects that show how teenagers get mentally troubled and sad. Overall, teens frequently commit suicide as a result of their dangerous mental torment. Eventually, a lot of teenagers lives end, which is worrying. The cause is frequently the naive belief of people in myths or superstitions that are subtly disguised as religious doctrines, duties, or socially acceptable codes imposed on youth. Therefore, it is crucial to identify the underlying reasons for such mental issues of today’s teens-like anxiety-which is important to address. The difficult thing about this problem is that it is not always possible to convey it clearly to anyone, even to close friends and family members like best friends or parents. Most of the time, such mental illnesses are kept secret in the heart and mind, which causes teenagers to die on the inside. Inclined by such emotional and mental suffering, this book serves as the voice of many suffering teenagers, particularly the sensitive and introverted ones.
