'I am not crazy; everyone else is crazy, and I will show you.' In The Case for Common Sense: Why Far-Left’ Extremism’ Deserves a Hearing, I challenge you, the reader, to confront your preconceptions about those we label far-right ’extremists,’ like myself. Are universal healthcare, equitable wages, and sustainable environmental practices genuinely radical ideas, or are they simply common-sense solutions in a world facing serious and growing challenges? This book makes the case that many of those often labelled as 'far-left extremism' are, in reality, the voice of reason, calling for policies grounded in compassion, equity, and evidence-based governance. With facts and evidence, I challenge you to show that advocating for universal access to education, food security, or public welfare-focused governance is irrational or fringe. We’ve been told that prioritizing public welfare is naive, that sustainable practices are idealistic, and that expecting corporations to be responsible citizens is foolish. But what if these so-called extreme ideas are exactly what society needs? Real extremism lies in clinging to outdated, unsustainable systems that fail the many for the gain of the few. It’s time to redefine what’s reasonable. If you’re ready to question the status quo, examine the facts and see that the path forward isn’t extreme; it’s our only rational choice.
