Das Hauptziel der vorliegenden Arbeit ist die Beschreibung des Designs, der Synthese und der Charakterisierung von Cholesterylpyrazolinen sowie deren Antitumor-Untersuchungen an menschlichen Tumorzelllinien. Die Identität der neu synthetisierten Verbindungen wurde durch IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, Massenspektrometrie und Elementaranalyse bestätigt. Das erste Kapitel enthält eine Einführung zur Bedeutung von Krebs, zur Anwendung von Steroiden als Antitumormittel und zur biologischen Verwendbarkeit von Pyrazolinderivaten. Das zweite und dritte Kapitel befassen sich mit der Synthese, Charakterisierung und den stereochemischen Aspekten von steroidalen Pyrazolinen, während das vierte Kapitel die Antitumor-Bewertung der neu synthetisierten Verbindungen behandelt.
