L’analisi del polline fornisce informazioni importanti sulla composizione pollinica della flora regionale; il nettare è una delle principali risorse grezze per l’apicoltura, poiché viene trasformato in miele dalle api. Poiché nel distretto di Gadchiroli non era mai stato condotto uno studio di questo tipo, si è deciso di esplorare le fonti di nettare e di redigere un calendario floreale apistico di questa regione, che contribuirà a migliorare le pratiche apicole e a fornire un reddito supplementare alle popolazioni rurali e tribali della zona.
