Yeats or the Bollywood adaptation of Shakespeare as well as Rushdi, Amitabha Ghosh, or Jhumpa Lahiri by modern Indian scholars have given the book a fresh flavour. The studies on Chinua Achebe, Benjamin Zephaniah, and Doris Lessing have added new dimensions to this.
