Cette recherche a examiné les stratégies d’adaptation au changement climatique parmi les agriculteurs de millet, de sorgho et de maïs dans la zone de gouvernement local de Goronyo de l’État de Sokoto. Les données sur les précipitations et les températures quotidiennes pendant 30 ans (1981-2010) proviennent de l’Autorité de développement du bassin de Sokoto Rima, Goronyo, et des services météorologiques nigérians.Development Authority, Goronyo, et du Nigerian Meteorological Services, Oshodi, Lagos. On en a déduit le début, la fin, la durée de la saison des pluies, le nombre de jours de pluie, les précipitations annuelles totales, la température maximale et minimale moyenne (paramètres essentiels à la croissance et au développement des plantes). L’analyse statistique a montré une tendance à l’augmentation des dates de début des pluies.
