Einleitung„Es gibt nur eins, was auf Dauer teurer ist als Bildung, keine Bildung.' Abgesehen vom Be-deutungsinhalt hat John F. Kennedy in diesem Satz zwei Wörter miteinander kombiniert, die in der heutigen Zeit leider immer Hand in Hand gehen - die Worte Bildung und teuer. Insbe-sondere ein Hochschulstudium hat inzwischen den Wert eines Neuwagens erreicht. Wenn man eine Regelstudienzeit von sechs Semestern (z. B. ein BWL- oder KuWi - Studium) nimmt und diese mit den Lebenshaltungskosten in dieser Zeit multipliziert und die Studienge-bühren addiert, kommt man auf ca. 30.000 € . Soviel kostet auch ein neuer VW Golf mit Vollausstattung. Zu beachten ist, dass diese Summe, wegen eventuell längerer Studiendauer, Auslandsaufenthalte, unterschiedlichhoher Mieten und Lebenshaltungskosten, nach oben hin offen ist. So kann aus einem VW Golf auch schnell ein fünfer BWM werden. Doch ist der finanzielle Hintergrund alleine dafür verantwortlich, dass sich Eltern bewusst dazu entscheiden, ihre Kinder nicht auf einen Weg der weiterführenden Bildung (Gymnasi-um/Uni oder Realschule/FH/Hochschule, etc.) zu schicken, oder spielen auch andere Fakto-ren eine entscheidende Rolle?
