Today, solid waste management is a critical national issue. One of the issues regarding Municipal Solid Waste Management (MSWM) in Malaysia is an abbreviate life span due to the intensifying amount of the solid waste generation and human population as well. Other concerns are about environmental and public health as consequences of inefficient waste management which results to fly production, odor, leachate and other possible negative effects. In this book the current situation of waste management system in the faculty of Engineering in the National University of Malaysia (UKM) has been investigated and some recommendations have been given.
