Maria and her mother lived in an apartment in Brooklyn. The czar and his wife gave one of the babies and the locket to Sofya to hide and care for until the threat from the Soviets was over. They knew their lives were in mortal danger. We follow the trail of the locket from Russia to Denmark; back to Russia and then The United States. Romance and mystery follow and lead to a fascinating tale.
