Most evangelical Christians have a reasonable grasp on the Bible, especially the New Testament. The challenge is applying the principles taught by Jesus in making decisions. We are all taught to love our neighbor and put others’ interests ahead of our own. Does this mean we can never consider our own interests? Do we need to give everything away? How do we prevent ourselves from being taken advantage of? Is there sin within the church itself? Why has God set the world up the way He has? What is the purpose of evil and temptation?
