L’educazione inclusiva degli studenti con disabilità visiva è iniziata nei Paesi sviluppati negli ultimi decenni. Lo scopo di questo studio è stato quello di scoprire come ridurre i deficit socialmente indotti nell’interazione degli studenti con disabilità visiva nelle scuole secondarie. Lo studio è stato qualitativo e ha adottato un disegno di studio di caso. Un campione di 34 partecipanti, composto da amministratori, insegnanti e studenti con disabilità visiva, è stato estratto in modo mirato da istituti secondari comprensivi. Per la raccolta dei dati sono state utilizzate interviste semi-strutturate, un questionario a risposta aperta e l’analisi dei documenti. È emerso che gli studenti con disabilità visiva nell’istruzione secondaria inclusiva sono stigmatizzati e completamente esclusi dalle attività sociali competitive. È stato raccomandato che il Ministero dell’Istruzione Primaria e Secondaria (MOPSE) fornisca agli amministratori, agli insegnanti e agli studenti vedenti la conoscenza delle abilità sociali che possono aiutarli a soddisfare i bisogni e gli interessi socio-emotivi degli studenti con disabilità visiva nell’istruzione secondaria inclusiva.
